HOUSING COUNSELING AGENCY COVID-19 RESPONSE
MSHDA’s network of Housing Counseling agencies partners with HUD Certified Housing Counselors from around the state to provide services to residents facing financial and housing crisis. The network of agencies are trained in community disaster response services. HUD certified Housing Counselors can help clients navigate the disaster recovery process, access recovery resources, keep their finances in order and avoid foreclosure or eviction.

Employee Assistance Grants

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE GRANTS
The Employee Assistance Grants were made available by Senate Bill 748, and are designed to provide support to employees impacted by the MDHHS Gathering and Face Mask Order that took effect on November 18, 2020. The Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation is administering this grant program.

COVID  Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA)

COVID EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) will administer the COVID Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) Program through its network of local nonprofit agencies starting March 15, 2021. CERA can provide rental and utility assistance for eligible renter households so that they retain their housing stability. Please read on below for program details.
